Well, the fun had to end sometime. My piggy bank is empty and that means 'job time'. Boo. So whilst I was hitting up the recruitment agency, I nipped back into the Antique shop where I found the beloved ashtray below and picked up this vanity case. Now, it's not real leather and it was probably made no earlier than the 80s BUT it's pretty cute and handy as all hell for storage. I also thought of a little trick to freshen up the smell a bit. All preloved things hold a bit of a dusty stink but I have the solution. I emptied a couple of tea bags, filled them up with lavender, taped them closed and slotted them in the pockets. Homemade potpourri. Cool. I wish I could just make potpourri for a living.
