OH JONI

I drove up to Leeds this weekend to pick my baby bro up from UNI. He has finished his first year. Baby bro is a tad misleading, he is 19 and most people think he's actually older than me. The guy is freakishly tall. Imagine the hair of Jim Morrison on the body of a grasshopper haha. Anyways, he also happens to be an ace guitarist, which is great news for me, as I have been trying to learn the acoustic guitar for over a year now. Unfortunately, I just haven't been able to dedicate the time to it. BUT right now, time is what I got. I know the basic chords, and a few strumming patterns and I can get away with accompanying myself to various renditions of Nirvana Unplugged tracks. I would really like to improve but with a live-in guitar teacher there is no reason why I shouldn't. He's so cute with his advice to 'just keep going if I make a mistake', aw! At the moment, I'm working on Joni Mitchell's 'A Case of You'. If you don't know the song, have a listen, it truly is the most beautiful track.
