BYE BYE BIRDY

I have this origami paper. I'm not really sure where it came from. I think it was a Christmas gift at some point. Anyways, I have been intending to do something with it for a long time but I never really got round to it. I decided to jazz up my room a little with an origami mobile. It's sweet and unassuming. I think it turned out pretty well.

I made 5 origami cranes in total using this tutorial here. Then I got some twigs from the garden, stripped them down and cut them into the right lengths. I then attached the birds to the twigs using a needle and thread. Once they were all fixed to the twigs, it took a little bit of time to arrange them so they balanced the way I wanted them to. Then, I just pinned it with a drawing pin to my ceiling. Now I can't get this out of my head. HOLLA.
