TIRA MISS SUE
OH MAN, this is a creamy dessert. Tiramisu actually means 'pick me up'. I definitely didn't feel lighter on my feet after eating it. Maybe it means 'pick me up, I'm too fat to move'.
You will need:
550ml of double cream
250g tub of marscapone
5tbsp of golden caster sugar
2tbsp strong coffee in 300ml of boiling water
200g of ladyfingers (buy more just in case)
A bar of dark chocolate
Whisk together the the cream, marscapone and sugar until you get a thick whip. Roll the ladyfingers in the coffee until they are soaked but not soggy. Layer them on the base of your dish, then a layer of the cream whip mixture, then grate on the dark chocolate, as much as possible. Repeat these layers until you run out of ingredients and finish with the cream mixture and grate a final layer of chocolate.
